Founded in 1995 by Doug Zell and Emily Mange, Intelligentsia went from a cafe with an erratic 12 Kilo roaster to a power-player in high end coffee.

By developing direct trade relationships with farmers, and focusing on sourcing, farming and processing, Intelligentsia has built a significant and impressive portfolio of world class coffees.

In Intelligentsia's coffee bars you can expect to find this remarkable coffee in all of its forms: whole bean, various approaches to brewed, and carefully prepared as espresso. Their goal is that "each of these coffees is presented in an environment steeped in education and humility. We want great coffee to be revered, yet democratic, approachable and accessible."

Joyride offerings from Intelligentsia include freshly roasted coffee for offices as well as brewing equipment service and maintenance. Intelligentsia cold brew coffee kegs are also available for offices and cafes in New York, coming soon to San Francisco and Los Angeles!
